Fountain, CO—The Racing for Corey organization announced today that over 100 wish kids and families from the Pueblo-based, non-profit, wish-granting organization, Dream Weavers, were in attendance at the ninth annual "Racing for Corey Luncheon and Race Day at PPIR," held Saturday, August 20, 2005, at PPIR.
The day's activities kicked-off with a luncheon, followed by a "meet and greet" with Indy Racing league (IRL) driver Roger Yasukawa of Dreyer & Reinbold Racing team, Infiniti Pro Series drivers Jay Drake of Vision Racing and Jeff Simmons of Kenn Hardley Racing; and Dreyer & Reinbold Racing team co-owner and National Spokesperson for Racing For Kids®, Robbie Buhl.
Dream Factory guests enjoyed the day's on-track activities including both the Infiniti Pro Series & IRL practice sessions and qualifying with complimentary grandstand tickets courtesy of PPIR .

Sparta, KY—The Racing for Corey organization hosted their fifth annual “Racing for Corey Luncheon and Day at the Track,” Saturday, August 13, 2005, at the Kentucky Speedway. The day’s activities kicked-off with a luncheon in the hospitality area of the concourse, under the Speedway’s main grandstands. Guests enjoyed face-painting provided by the IRL Ministries, photo opportunities with “Horsepower,” and the day’s on track activities including the IRL practice sessions and qualifying, and the "The Bluegrass 100" Infiniti Pro Series race.

Indianapolis, IN—Mike Klinge, KECO Coatings president and founder of non-profit charity, Racing for Corey (RFC), announced today that RFC is the designated charity to benefit from one of the attractions at the 54th Hoosier Hundred event, starting Thursday, May 26, 2005, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, in Indianapolis. 3-lap rides in Jack Hewitt’s 2 Seater Sprint Car will be given on the Hoosier mile from 11am - 6pm, for $300. Proceeds to benefit Racing for Corey. Rides are limited to 30.

A special 3-lap ride in The Print Express Ride for Corey 2 Seater Sprint Car, driven by Jack Hewitt on Friday May 27, preceding the 54th running of the Hoosier Hundred, is available by bid on EBay. Minimum bid is $2,500.

Frankfort, IN—The Racing for Corey organization announced today that Circle Track Motorsports, a motorsports-formatted show on radio station WSHW 99.7 FM , Shine 99 in Frankfort Indiana, hosted a raffle during the season’s final show of the year, on September 29, 2004, to benefit Racing for Corey. Over $1,300 was raised. Greg and Debbie Hanchar, Corey’s parents, were interviewed about the Racing for Corey organization and accepted the donation.
Program hosts Kevin Black and Leslie Anderson organized the event after learning about Racing for Corey through Josh Spencer a sprint car driver and supporter of the Racing for Corey organization. During the racing season, Black and Anderson sold raffle tickets at various tracks for the donated prizes to be raffled at the season’s final show. Donated items included autographed racing photos, racing hats, gloves, racing sun glasses, helmet covers and an autographed Bell helmet covered with over 200 IRL driver and other series celebrity drivers’ autographs

Over 40 children and families of the Louisville Chapter of the Dream Factory Inc., served as honorary guests. Luncheon and organized festivities were held at the Racing For Kids® Hospitality Site.

The Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation (SSPF) joined the Racing for Corey luncheon with their 80 invited guests associated with Hamilton's and Friends for Michael as part of its "Day at the Races" program. The effort was part of the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation's program to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the IndyCar Series and the Menards' Infiniti Pro Series racing for spinal-cord-injury patients and their families.
The day's activities kicked-off with a luncheon and "meet and greet" with IRL driver Felipe Giaffone of Dreyer &Reinbold Racing and his team owner and National Spokesperson for Racing For Kids®, Robbie Buhl. Infiniti Pro Series driver Travis Gregg of Sam Schmidt Motorsports and his team owner and SSPF founder, Sam Schmidt, also signed autographs. Sam's adapted signing skills as a quadriplegic amazed and inspired the young guests.
An Infiniti Pro Series car was on-hand for an upclose look and a Busch car provided a real "driving" experience.

Indianapolis, IN—Racing for Corey organization announced today that the "3rd Annual Racing for Corey Grand Prix," raised over $7,000 for designated charities: Indiana Children's Wish Fund, Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation, Racing For Kids® and Racing for Corey.
The Grand Prix was held Monday, May 5, 2003, at Fastimes Indoor Karting, located at 96th Street and N. Keystone Avenue in Indianapolis. KECO Coatings sponsored the event with co-sponsor Racing For Kids ® . The event was emceed by Bob Jenkins and retired IRL driver Tyce Carlson. IRL driver Robbie Buhl was also in attendance.
As part of the entertainment, there were two intermission races a "Celebrity/Media" race between local personalities, and a "Pro" race with IRL and USAC drivers. Racers in the "Celebrity/Media" race included: WTHR's Dave Calabro, WISH-TV's Wil Hampton, the "Watson Girl," Jennifer Eichler and WIBC's Vince Welch—the winner. USAC driver Jay Drake took the checkered flag for the "Pro" race, winning against a field of USAC and IRL drivers which included: Tracy Hines, JJ Yeley, Tony Elliot, Marco Cioci, Jerry Coons Jr. and IRL driver Jimmy Kite.
WIBC1070AM and WKLU 101.9FM's "Racing with DO" broadcasted Live. Funds were raised through the Grand Prix, "live" & "silent" auctions.
The Indiana Children's Wish Fund, established in 1984, grants wishes to Indiana children, ages 3-19, who suffer from a life-threatening illness. To date, the Wish Fund has granted nearly 1,400 wishes to Indiana children.

Corey Luncheon and Day at the Track," Saturday, August 10, 2002,
at the Kentucky Speedway, located in Sparta Kentucky. Belterra Casino
Resort, the Kentucky Speedway and KECO Coatings sponsored the event. The
children and families of the Louisville Chapter of the Dream Factory Inc.,
were honorary guests. This was the final scheduled Racing for Corey event
for 2002.
The
days activities kicked-off with the IRL and Infiniti practice sessions,
followed by a luncheon at Belterras hospitality trailer with a "meet
and greet" autograph session with IndyCar drivers Billy Boat and
Tyce Carlson and USAC driver Mike Boat. The families enjoyed the Speedways
on-track activities throughout the day with complimentary grandstand tickets
courtesy of the Kentucky Speedway.

a state of the art tri-oval which seats 66,089 and has hosted NASCAR,
Indy Racing League, ARCA and USAC events since it debuted in June, 2000.


Racing
for Corey hosted a "Special Luncheon and Race Day" at
Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain Colorado, Saturday,
June 15, 2002.
The wish kids and families of the non-profit, wish-granting organization, Dream Weavers were honorary guests. Luncheon and festivities were
held at the Racing For Kids/Team Purex hospitality trailer. Racing For
Kids spokesman and IRL driver, Robbie Buhl entertained the kids with
a
Q&A session prior to race qualifications.
Dream
Weavers enjoyed IRL qualifications and track activities with complimentary
tickets courtesy of Pikes Peak International Raceway. The days activities
concluded with the IRL autograph session.
This is our sixth annual Racing for Corey event in Colorado with the Dream Weavers organization and our second to be held at the track.

The Racing for Corey organization hosted their fifth annual luncheon for the Indiana Childrens Funds children and families on "Bump Day", Sunday, May 19th at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Festivities included lunch at the Gordon Johncock hospitality suite, garage area passes and tickets to watch the "Bump Day" qualifications. The kids were treated to a special appearance by the Wish Funds mascot "Sunny," and Coreys quarter midget was on display for the kids to sit in and enjoy.
The luncheon was sponsored by KECO Coatings. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway generously donated the admission tickets and parking passes.
The Indiana Childrens Wish Fund grants wishes to children ages
3 to 18 diagnosed with terminal or life-threatening illnesses. Through
funds provided through corporate sponsorships, private donations and fund
raising events, this organization is able to grant the wishes of children
that might otherwise be out of reach. Note: There is no affiliation
to any other wish-granting organization.
Racing
for Corey was founded in the memory of Corey Hanchar, a member of the
Indiana Childrens Wish Fund. Racing for Corey is proud to be associated

INThe Racing for Corey organization announced the
second annual Racing for Corey Grand Prix charity karting event,
raised over $15,000 for its designated charities: Indiana Childrens
Wish Fund, the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation and Racing for Corey.
Over 200 people were in attendance.
The "Racing for Corey Grand Prix" was held Monday, May 6, 2002, at "Racers," located at Union Station, 302 S. Meridian Street, in downtown Indianapolis. The Belterra Casino Resort, KECO Coatings, Print Communications and Racers sponsored the event.
As part of the entertainment, there was an intermission "celebrity" race between local media personalities and celebrity drivers. Racing celebrity IRL drivers included: Tyce Carlson, . Also present were Robbie Buhl, Billy Boat, Arie Luyendyk, Jay Drake and team owner Sam Schmidt. Derek Daily performed the live auction.
Mike
Klinge, President of KECO stated, "This was our second karting event
and overall we are very pleased. As with any event, there are always things
that can be improved upon, so we will make some modifications and return
next year with a third annual. Adding, "In addition to raising funds
it is our goal to bring awareness to these great organizations and their
worthwhile causes. We definitely accomplished that."

Over 85 children and family members, as well as, Dream Factory board members and directors came out to enjoy the festivities.
The
days activities kicked-off with a luncheon catered by the Outback
Steakhouse at the Belterra hospitality trailer, followed by a "meet
and greet" autograph session with IndyCar drivers including Tyce
Carlson and Billy Boat. The children and families were presented Dream
Factory t-shirts, Racing for Corey t-shirts, IRL hats and driver autograph
cards. Complimentary grandstand tickets courtesy of the Kentucky Speedway
were distributed. Dream Factory guests were shuttled to the grandstand
to enjoy the scheduled track activities. A great time was had by all.
